We are committed to keeping your project data private, secure, and under your control.
Who we are
TideLine is operated by Elite Analytics Inc., located in Toronto, Canada. We provide forensic schedule analytics and construction delay-claim tooling to engineering firms, contractors, and legal teams. For privacy questions, contact us at support@eliteanalytics.ca.
What data we collect
We collect account data (name, work email, organization, role), authentication data managed by our auth provider, billing data handled by Stripe, project and schedule data you upload or create, and usage events needed for licensing, support, and security. We do not intentionally collect personal information from children under 16.
How we use your data
We use data to provide TideLine services, authenticate users, enforce entitlements, process payments, prevent fraud, respond to support requests, improve the product, and meet legal obligations. Schedule files and analysis inputs are stored only to deliver the service you request.
Where data is stored
Application and account data are stored in secure cloud infrastructure in North America through our backend provider. Encrypted backups and logs are retained for operations, security, and compliance. Contact us if you need details on data residency.
Third-party services
We rely on a small number of trusted providers for authentication, database hosting, payments, and email delivery. We share only the data each provider needs to perform its function, and we require equivalent security and confidentiality protections.
Cookies and analytics
TideLine uses essential cookies for authentication and session security. With your consent where required, we also use Google advertising and measurement technologies to understand whether an advertisement led to a free-trial signup. Google may receive device, browser, interaction, and advertising identifier data for attribution and measurement. You can accept or reject optional cookies and change your choice at any time through Cookie settings; rejecting them does not affect essential TideLine features.
Data retention
We keep your account and project data for as long as your organization maintains an active account, plus a reasonable period afterward for legal, billing, and security purposes. Trial data is normally removed after a period of inactivity, unless you upgrade.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data; object to or restrict processing; and withdraw consent where applicable. To exercise these rights, email support@eliteanalytics.ca with your organization name and request.
Security
We use encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, row-level security, least-privilege service accounts, and regular dependency scanning. No system is perfectly secure; report vulnerabilities to support@eliteanalytics.ca and we will address them promptly.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The latest version is always available at this page. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email where appropriate.
